We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee and manage our bar and catering operations at the Golf Club. You will work alongside the Head Chef and his team whilst managing your own front of house team. This role is pivotal in ensuring an exceptional member/guest experience while managing a team of hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for customer care, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
In summmary you will be responsible for managing and operating the following areas; Club bar, members & guest lounge, resturant/function room & back of house areas.
*Main Duties*
These are the main duties although you will be provided with a comprehensive Job Description if selected for our shortlist of cadidates.
- Manage front of house staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to operational standards.
- Manage bartending operations, including drink preparation and inventory management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Train and mentor team members in hospitality and best practices.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labour costs effectively within your budget.
*Experience*
- Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Experience in bartending and high standard service roles is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on members and guest interaction.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding service is crucial.
