Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a new team member to fill a Customer Service and Office Assistant role.
We are looking for a helpful, friendly team-player who can assist with general office and administrative tasks, including supporting our logistics, procurement and sales teams but also jump in to help with customer service as needed on a daily basis. We pride ourselves on delivering the Ruby Group business ethos of a first class customer service experience to all our customers, making sure they feel listened to, important and so happy to return to us for repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide general office and administrative support as required to other teams in the business, including logistics, sales and procurement.
- Support the Customer Service team to assist with queries through the phone, email and live chat.
- Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in-line with the Company’s procedures and requirements.
Personal Attributes
Our Customer Service and Office Assistant will be a team player who is confident when dealing with the general public and has a professional, can-do attitude. Ideally they will have a background in Customer Service and/or Sales and have experience in a customer facing role. Personality and a can-do attitude are very important to us. They will actively look to support our different teams and jump in to support customer service as and when needed.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers. They enjoy challenges and are optimistic and open to change. They are actively committed to teamwork and assisting colleagues as well as having the ability to use their own initiative.They have an engaging, friendly and cheerful personality and are able to work under pressure during busy periods.
They have a clear understanding of the vital role they play in being part of a team that contributes to the company’s success and are committed to setting high standards and having clear objectives.
Job Duties:
- General office and administration duties.

- Answer incoming customer inquiries
- Staying up-to-date on new products, services, and policies
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
- Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
