We are looking for an experienced and passionate Quality Support Officer to work as part of our Quality & Business Intelligence Team.

As Quality Service Support Officer for Rethink Mental Illness I work as part of the Quality and Service Support Team (Q&S) to deliver compliance and performance monitoring support to Rethink services and provide Quality and Service implementation support for new Rethink services. Reporting to the Head of Quality & Service Support, I work closely with the extended Q&S team, colleagues across services, HR, Finance and others.
My focus is on providing compliance and performance monitoring support to services. I help to plan and inform the work of the Q&S team by providing information and support to Quality managers. I help to develop processes and systems to enable Rethink to deliver high performing, excellent quality services that achieve great outcomes for people using them. I support the team to plan and schedule Q&S support and provide contract and management support to key systems such as lone working, and CQC Registration.
How you will make a difference
The Quality team provide an internal quality assurance and support function to all Rethink Mental Illness services. We offer support, advice, help and guidance to staff and managers working in services to assist them to continuously improve the way we deliver services.
We work to:
- provide an internal audit function for all services. This uses criteria based on our regulators, quality standards and best practice that promotes the best possible outcomes and quality of life for people using our services.
- provide coaching, and solutions with managers and staff in operational delivery. We also support managers to develop systems and processes which enhance practice and implement best practice from the wider sector.
- support services with readiness for Care Quality Commission or other external quality inspections.
- provide data to the Operational Delivery Group on key performance measurements, to both provide targeted input/support and to contribute to strategic outcomes.
- support services to positively manage risk for our service users, and more widely though links with the Integrated Governance Overview Group
- provide a mobilisation management lead for any newly mobilising services or changed services following retender.
