Role Overview:

As a Stock and Sales Assistant at 8Bits, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing the sales floor, and providing outstanding customer service. Your ability to manage inventory effectively and assist customers will be crucial in supporting the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize stock in the stockroom and on the sales floor, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking merchandise, and checking for accuracy against delivery notes.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, clean, and attractively presented, with products displayed according to company standards.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing detailed information and recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling various forms of payment.
- Collaborate with team members to set up promotional displays and participate in store events.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
- Support the team in achieving sales targets and maintaining a positive store atmosphere.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a retail, stock management, or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
