We are looking for an experienced and passionate Young People’s Programmes Communities Coordinator to work as part of our Young People’s Programmes Team.

Our Young Peoples Programmes focus on mental health prevention by delivering upstream resilience building programmes to young people across the UK. Traditionally delivered through workshops in mainstream education and community-based settings, we have recently diversified our approach and our focus is now on engaging and supporting young people from diverse and underserved communities.
Building on our existing programmes we have been through an extensive needs assessment and co-production phase which has provided us with the foundation to design evidence-based and culturally appropriate programmes.
How you will make a difference
- Lead for national/regional level engagement work
- Lead for national/regional level partnership work
- Act as the internal/external lead on rural communities and communities in areas of deprivation
- Act as the lead on co-production across all young people’s programmes
- Work with the Manager of Young Peoples Programmes to develop engagement strategies for priority areas
I will work with the following people and teams
- The Head of Young Peoples Programmes
- The Manager of Young Peoples Programmes
- The Bloom Engagement Officers
- Engage and collaborate with other Young People’s Programmes Coordinator
- Freelance Training Associates and ensure quality standards are upheld in delivery nationwide
- Engage and collaborate with programme managers in the other founding charities of Mental Health UK – Change Mental Health in Scotland, Adferiad Recovery in Wales and MindWise in Northern Ireland
- Mental Health UK’s Programme Support Officer
- Communications Team for Mental Health UK
