Job Introduction
We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Animal Welfare Officer/CCTV to join our team in Willand, Devon.
- The rate of pay is £14.44 per hour
- Working hours are 8:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
Main Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Observe, report and record compliance and non-compliance to company technical procedures through the monitoring of CCTV and physical factory audits
- Act as an ambassador for the technical department, setting the example for your colleagues with regards to achieving compliance and consistently following company procedures
- Engage with and educate colleagues on company technical procedures and expected GMP standards
- Carry out audits, alternating each hour between viewing CCTV and factory walks, and document instances of compliance and non-compliance for trending purposes
Full training will be given for all aspects of the role.
The Ideal Candidate
- Food Manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential
- Previous QA or QC experience is advantageous but not essential
- Skills
- Good communication skills and attention to detail, able to influence at all levels
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Able to prioritise & organise own workload and work to time deadlines
- Ability to problem solve and influence in a fast -paced environment with sometimes conflicting priorities
