What you’ll do
Due to continued success, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Trade Marks Administrator to join our highly regarded brand and trade marks team, who are currently based in our Exeter office. This role will be available initially on a temporary basis, however, with the potential to become permanent. Due to the nature of this role, we would also consider candidates working on a remote basis.
Our brand and trade marks team comprises of a mixture of Solicitors and Trade Mark Attorneys, many of whom are listed as leading lawyers in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories. The team is regularly featured in the World Trademark Review 1000 publication, and boast an impressive roster of clients including Creed fragrances, Majestic Wines, What3Words and Aardman Animations Limited.
The primary purpose of this role is to proactively assess our current processes, to recommend and implement enhancements which will promote efficiency and enhance the client experience.
Further to this, your day-to-day duties may include carrying out all aspects of trade mark formalities matters such as inbox communications, recording and monitoring deadlines and renewals in support of members of the team.

Who you are
Preferably CITMA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience within a trade mark focused environment role, you will have a strong working knowledge of WebTMs, and be able to quickly identify areas our team could better utilise the system.
You’ll have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and being self-motivated and proactive will be essential. This is a busy and fast paced role, so you’ll demonstrate an excellent ability to manage competing priorities, whilst being confident and possessing strong organisational and communication skills. As a natural team player, we will expect you to work proactively with colleagues to provide them with all the support they need in order to deliver great results for our clients, whilst making a genuine impact in improving efficiencies and processes across the team.
