Salary Details
This role is offered on a temporary basis. The rate of pay will be £53.33 per hour for approximately 100 hours over 12 months. This post is available to start immediately in the Department of Health and Care Professions with the expectation that the post holder undertakes mandatory training and be in a position to begin preparing for the assessment process in the early part of 2025.
The hours are flexible to suit the candidate and we particularly welcome candidates who are current clinicians looking to work additional hours around their usual role.
The role
The Department of Health and Care Professions is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Independent Assessor (s) for the End Point Assessment module for the Advanced Clinical Practitioner Integrated Higher/Degree Apprenticeship.
As Independent Assessor you will be required to:
- Carry out external moderation of End Point Assessment (EPA);
- Attend the examination boards to which you are invited;
- Act as first marker for resits for any element of the EPA
- Complete an Annual External Examiners Report;
- Be part of consultation on programme and End Point Assessment modifications as required.
