Pay rate: £12.08 per hour + Enhanced rates on Nights & Weekends.
Rota and Hours: Mondays – Sundays, with the below shifts available on rota basis
7.30am – 3.30pm, 10.30am – 6.30pm & 11.15am – 7.15pm shifts available.

About the Trust
We provide health and social care services to our people in their own homes or in their local community. We also run Torbay Hospital (providing acute hospital services) as well as five community hospitals, stretching from Dawlish to Brixham. We support around 500,000 face-to-face contacts with patients in their homes and communities each year and see over 78,000 people in our A&E department annually. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the daily running of our catering services. This physically demanding role requires you to be on your feet for long periods, lifting and moving supplies, and working efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assisting with food preparation and service
· Cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
· Stocking supplies and managing deliveries
· Operating catering equipment safely and effectively
· Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
About You
· Physically fit – able to work on your feet for long periods and handle manual tasks
· A hardworking and reliable individual with a positive attitude
· Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
· Previous experience in a catering or food service role (desirable but not essential)
· Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
