Job Title: Trade Counter/Warehouse Person
Location: Exeter
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Trade Counter/Warehouse Person to join our team in Exeter. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to assist customers with their inquiries and orders in a professional and friendly manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and assisting with their inquiries
- Processing orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Stocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed neatly
- Keeping track of inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary)
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Physically able to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
- Valid driver's license is a plus
