Sandford Orchards is the largest independent cider maker in Devon and one of the fastest growing cider brands in the UK.
Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual for a on-site position. This role is a minimum of 24 hours per week, with potential for extending the hours/role. As a vital member of the company, your role will involve providing essential support throughout the site. This role will suit someone who is organised and truly passionate about product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all relevant department paperwork is completed fully and on time
- Carry out internal site inspections
- Ensure QA/QC Task List is fully signed off & all tasks completed on time
- To carry out all training required to meet the requirements of the role
- Preparation and involvement of all internal and external audits
- To immediately report any incidents of poor manufacturing practice, H&S incidents or food safety concerns to any member of the Senior Management team
- Departmental reporting preparation
- Any other duties deemed necessary by the company for the successful completion of the role or for the benefit of the company.
Personal Specification
Skills:
· While prior experience is advantageous, it is not essential; full training will be provided.
· Knowledge of product safety and compliance is a plus.
· General computer skills.
· Must demonstrate a willingness to be hands-on and adaptable in the role.
· High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
