Support Worker - ASC - With Driving Licence to Drive Mobility Vehicle - must be aged 25 years or over to comply with the insurance terms for the mobility vehicle.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Support Worker to work with Giles who has a Learning Disability and Complex Needs. The successful candidate will work days with a sleeps in.

Giles is looking to add a support worker to his team. He lives in his own home and is usually active during the day, he enjoys the outdoors and loves walking and enjoys swimming and baking, In the evening, he likes to watch DVDs and old reruns of TV shows, also enjoys going to the cinema.
On occasion to take Giles away on mini breaks, where he enjoys going to the Zoo and visiting new places.

The attributes and skills you will require
· Ensuring his nutritional needs are met
· Managing his medication
· Providing emotional support in periods of high anxiety or distress
· Experienced or willingness to provide personal care for when we become CQC registered.
· A good problem solver who is able to think creatively.
· The ability to enjoy a challenge and a positive mental attitude
· Be reliable and consistent
· A confident decision maker
· To remain calm and confident in complex and challenging situations and cope well with stressful situations.
GM's team will need to be upbeat, possess good planning skills, good at creating and adhering to structure and able to consistently follow measures and guidelines which have been put in place.
