Courier Driver (Job ref: DR001)
Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026
Salary: £23,151 / £12 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Exeter Library (base)
Closing date: 9am, Monday 27th January 2025
Interview date: Tuesday 4th February 2025, at Exeter Library
Working Pattern:
Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm (start time flexible)
Join our dynamic Courier Team and play a crucial role in supporting libraries across Devon and Torbay! We are currently looking for a conscientious, professional and enthusiastic candidate who will ensure effective stock rotation across the public libraries within Devon and Torbay.
As a valued member within our Stock Services Team, you can expect to:
• Follow specified routes while using strong planning and organizational skills to structure your working day effectively.
• Represent Libraries Unlimited with professionalism through excellent customer service and upholding our core values.
• Carry out multiple daily deliveries and collections of library stock and parcels across Devon and Torbay.
• Regularly handle and transport stock, including boxes weighing up to 25kg.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure safe working practices.
This role is ideal for someone who can work both as a team and independently, has excellent planning and organisational skills, and carries a full UK driving licence (with Category B).
