Who will I be working for?

Darthaven Marina is located in the stunning South Hams countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and in a truly tranquil setting. Our impressive 270 berth marina and boatyard has grown over the past 30 years and we pride ourselves in the first-class service all our teams provide to our berth holders, visitors and customers. You will be working with our teams of Marine Engineers, Marine Electricians, Shipwrights and our Quayside Lifting team.

We’re currently looking for a Service Co-ordinator to join us on a full-time basis.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual with a great customer focus to join our team providing services for some of the most prestigious boats available.

Working in one of the South West’s most beautiful settings, you will have the chance to contribute to the day-to-day running of our stunning marina while acting as a key point of contact for customers and staff.

What will I be doing?

As a Service Co-ordinator, you will manage a wide range of duties often with tight deadlines.

You will take instructions from customers and colleagues and liaise with third party agencies in person, by telephone and email. In doing this, you will need to prompt for all relevant information, giving advice and guidance to our customers as necessary with the support of our technical teams.

You will raise Works Instructions and produce Estimates using Sage CRM, assign tasks to our teams, monitor progress of works all whilst keeping our customers informed in a professional manner throughout.

You will handle customer card payments including taking deposits.

What do I need?

To join us as a Service Co-ordinator, you’ll need:

- The ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy office environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication, time management and IT skills
- An enthusiastic, flexible attitude

Knowledge of the marine industry and/or technical terminology would be beneficial, but not essential.
