Part-Time Salesperson – Thunderflower Distillery

Location: Exeter, Devon

Working Pattern: Part-time, 2 days per week (with potential for increased hours based on performance)

Thunderflower Distillery is an award-winning, small-batch craft distillery producing premium spirits for on-trade, off-trade, and direct-to-consumer markets. Our range of spirits, rooted in craftsmanship and sustainability, has earned us a dedicated following locally, nationally, and internationally.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesperson to drive growth by expanding our portfolio of trade customers and nurturing strong, long-term relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a growing, independent distillery, with the flexibility to manage your own schedule.

About the Role

This part-time role (2 days per week) is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships and driving sales, with flexibility to work from home, on the road, or from our distillery. There is scope for additional hours based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth: Proactively seek out and secure new trade customers, including bars, restaurants, retailers, and distributors.

Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with existing and new trade customers.

Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue and market growth.

Performance Management: Achieve sales targets and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Tastings and Events: Support business growth by hosting tasting events at the distillery or at customer venues. Occasional weekend work may be required for events such as food fairs.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, ideally within the drinks, hospitality, or FMCG sector.

Strong relationship-building skills with trade customers.

Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive results.

Full UK driving licence (a company vehicle will be provided for customer visits).

Self-motivated and confident in negotiating and closing sales.
