Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and meal presentation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and taste. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, working closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and marinating food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all workstations are tidy and well-stocked.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new cooking methods and recipes.

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
