Job Summary

With almost 50 years of experience, System Six Kitchens is a family-run manufacturer and retailer of stylish, bespoke kitchens and bedrooms.

The building team are responsible for assembling the units that have been cut by the workshop team. The finishing line are then responsible for hanging the doors onto the units that have been built and completing quality checks on each unit ready to then pack, wrap and send through to the delivery area. Giving you in-depth experience in the building process.

Responsibilities

- Assemble units together that have been cut.

- Complete quality checks on the units that have been built.

- Hang doors on to the made units and insert drawers.

- Pack the units ready to place through the wrapper with foam tubing.

- Heavy lifting of the units into the delivery bay into correct routes

- Creating drawers’ packs ready to put into the units.

- Adding Cams and Pins and ‘bitting’ the units ready for the assemblers to put together.

Reporting To: Paul Cummings, Factory Manager

Day Shift Hours: 7am – 15:30pm Monday - Friday

Rate of Pay: £11.69 per hour, reviewed after 6 months probation, based on performance rising to £11.97 per hour. At 9 months rising to £12.12 per hour again based on performance and the full rate after 12months.
