Job Title: Administration Assistant

Location: Southwest Handling, Whiddon Down
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, with potential for growth

Job Purpose:
Due to continued growth Southwest Handling is looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Administration Assistant to join our Admin team and expanding company. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and provide essential administrative support. This role is perfect for someone who has admin experience, enjoys delivering excellent customer service and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Administration Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

Assisting with order processing, invoicing, and customer correspondence
Welcoming customers and visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional experience
Answering and directing incoming phone calls and managing email enquiries
Providing general administrative support to the office, including filing, scanning, and data entry

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience in Xero and/or Ibos is an advantage, but training can be given.
A team player with the ability to work independently when needed
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not essential
