Area Sales Manager - South West of England

Ideal Location: in the dairy regions of Devon or Somerset

smaXtec is transforming dairy herd health with our unique health management system for cows. We’re expanding our team and looking for an Area Sales Manager with deep knowledge of the dairy industry, a strong sales focus, and a proactive, consultative approach.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and expand your sales territory, focusing on dairy farms in the South West of England.
Identify and acquire new customers, effectively communicating the benefits of smaXtec’s solutions.
Provide expert advice to customers, understanding their unique challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
Drive the full sales process, from initial contact to closing, maintaining contact with customers post-sale to foster strong, ongoing relationships.
Represent smaXtec at trade shows, events, and customer meetings, building strong industry relationships.

What You Bring

Proven sales experience within the dairy or agricultural sectors—or hands-on, on-farm experience such as herd management is also a valuable background.
Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers.
Highly organized and self-motivated, with effective time management skills.
Passion for the dairy sector, a driver’s license, and readiness to sell in the field.
