Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team as we look to expand our business. We're looking for the perfect candidate to provide technical assistance and support to our clients in the Torbay area, ensuring smooth operation of their systems and software.

Responsibilities

Resolve client queries and technical issues in a timely manner both remotely and on-site.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot clients IT hardware and software applications.
Collaborate with management to address complex technical problems where required.
Offer training and guidance to clients on software usage and operational habbits when required.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and issue resolutions.

Required Attributes

Strong background in technical support and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of IT and network infrastructures.
Extensive experience with Windows operating systems.
Great interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain patience and understanding with clients.
Comfortable and efficient when working alone with clients.
Full UK Driving License with own transport.
Live in the Torbay area.

Optional Attributes

Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
Experience with MacOS operating systems.
Understanding of CCTV systems.
