Role Description

You will be responsible for providing financial planning advice to clients on the full range of needs, but likely to be specialising in pensions and estate planning advice. Our services are sought after, and we benefit from regular referrals and recommendations from clients and professionals alike so you do not need to have your own clients, just a good level of technical knowledge and an ability to get on well with people and communicate complex planning clearly and simply.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Independent Financial Advisor in Exeter City Centre offices on an employed basis. You should hold a full clean driving licesne as your work will sometimes involve visiting some clients in their home outside the office. Although our integrated IT and Telephone systems support working from home, this role is primarily office based to enable the best integration of the team.

We have an experienced team of paraplanners and financial services administrators to support you in your role delivering high quality indepdent financial advice, as well as your professional development.

Qualifications and requirements

The right person will already hold, or will be working towards achieving Chartered Financial Planner status and will have a proven track record of providing advice and ongoing service to clients.

Duties:
- Working alongside the directors to meet client needs, including face-to-face meetings
- Conducting research on investment products and strategies
- Analysing client information and preparing reports
- Preparing and processing client paperwork, including applications and transfers
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure client needs are met

Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in financial planning software and tools
- Knowledge of investment products and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
