Kitchen Team Member

Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our catering team as a Kitchen Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. A little bit about us:
We are a company that operates out of Torquay, Devon. Delivering to the whole of Torbay and the surrounding area. We have multiply brands established, each with their own unique product and cooking method. We have Part-Time available with the option of Full-Time hours, once you are fully trained. Training should take 2-6 months, depending on your ability and current skill set.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, happy to take on responsibility and takes pride in their work.

The Role:
No kitchen experience is needed but will help. We have a unique way of cooking and preparing some of our items and even with kitchen experience you will still need training in our methods and procedures.

All training is done on site and in shift, you will be hired as an extra kitchen staff member until you have the skills and abilities to cook on your own, without assistance.

Once you are fully trained, you will be expected to be able to open and close the kitchen, cook all items on the menu without assistance, answer the phone to speak to customers and take orders if necessary.

Shift lengths depend on start times, day of the week and trade but shifts will be anywhere from 5 - 12 hours long. having the ability to work long shifts, nights and weekends is essential for the role. .

Hourly wage and payment structure:
Your pay will start at £11.44 per hour. After you are fully-trained you will be put on a commission system, which rewards are kitchen staff with a commission bonus per kitchen.
