Pallet Racking Maintenance Engineer

Reports to – Team Leader

DC Space & Solutions designs, supply’s, installs, inspects and maintains industrial racking and mezzanine floors. DC is a growing company established in 1990.

Role Responsibilities

Responsible on site for the swift and safe erection of Industrial Pallet Racking and Mezzanine Floors on customer premises to pre-agreed specification.
Installers must work with their Team Leader on the installation and ensure that the job requirements are fulfilled to client satisfaction and sign off.
You will be required to work as part of a team, be self-motivated and be prepared to work at height (training on working at height can be provided).
You will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of workmanship and customer service in line with our Values.
You will be required to work away, and spend nights in overnight accommodation where required.

Competent Driver including trailer if possible with clean licence or no more than 3 points

FLT licence – can be trained

Training provided for the following if not already proficient

IPAF
SIERS supervisor level
CSCS
Forklift
Reachtruck

Hours, Remuneration and Holiday Entitlement

£28,000 p.a. with progression plan for further career advancement
Standard holiday entitlement – 28 days including bank holidays in a calendar year
45 hours per week Monday – Friday, plus occasional weekend work and work out of the area. Daily requirements to be worked out with Team Leader
3 month Probation period

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
