Duties/Responsibilities:

To assist in providing a safe and nurturing home environment for children and young people, appropriate to their age, understanding and identified needs.
Provide support with all aspects of their daily lives and encourage them to engage in decision making relating to their care.
To encourage and support all young people to take responsibility for their self-care and personal hygiene appropriate to their age.
To ensure that good health and welfare is promoted and that the needs of young people are identified, and services provided to meet these.
To develop positive relationships with young people and enable them to develop their existing skills and learn new ones.
To act as a positive role model and actively prepare and support young people when leaving care to enable them to make a successful transition into adulthood.
To maintain a regular system of recording in connection with each young person, to be involved in the development and implementation of individual care plans and to provide reports as and when required.

To be considered for this opportunity at 360 CRS, you should have:

Experience working with Children and Young People (ideally in a residential setting)
Relevant qualification in Level 3 Residential Childcare diploma (or a willingness to undertake the qualification and training)
Ability to write clear and detailed reports
Be of good character and integrity.
Resilience and tenacious qualities
Have a positive attitude and good sense of humour
