One of Plymouth's modern, progressive, supportive and flexible law firms is looking for a Legal Assistant to join their Commercial Property team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a property team of a law firm, from where they can bring some previous knowledge and know-how. However, if you've worked within a different legal department and have an interest in commercial property, this might be appealing.

Responsibilities include:

Acting as a support to the fee-earners
Offering administrative assistance and ensuring smooth operations within the department
Onboarding new clients
Opening and closing of legal files
Liaising with clients
Answering calls and resolving queries
Other general legal and administrative support

Skills and experience required:

Previous experience of working within a legal support role at a law firm
Excellent organisational skills
Good computer and typing skills
An interest in commercial property law would be an advantage
